No. 3 Notre Dame defeated Navy 44-22 Saturday night at SDCCU Stadium in San Diego. The game, part of a decades-long series was not only a celebration of football but of our many service men and women. Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book finished with 330 yards and two touchdowns with only one interception while running back Dexter Williams had a monster game, rushing for 142 yards and three touchdowns. Navy did manage to create two turnovers and outscore the Fighting Irish in both the third and fourth quarter, despite going scoreless in the first half but it wasn’t enough to overcome Notre Dame’s efficient offense. The Midshipmen drop to 3-5 in San Diego and 2-6 on the season. Notre Dame remains a perfect 8-0 as they chance a Playoff berth. Check out our recap and highlights!
