In the ninth episode of the podcast, Kaleigh and Emily are joined by good friend and local radio hero, Bonta Hill, cohost of the 95.7 FM radio show “Afternoon Delight” with Greg Pappa. Bonta knows everything about everything when it comes to Bay Area sports – that’s why his hair is so big. Mr. Hill breaks down some NFL action – the 49ers and Jimmy Garoppolo, the Raiders and Derek Carr as well as some MLB, like the Giants and newly acquired third baseman Evan Longoria.
Later the girls are joined by Kansas Men’s Basketball Assistant Coach Jerrance Howard, who calls in prior to the Jayhawks game against Stanford on Thursday night. Howard discusses Kansas’ early struggles, particularly against Pac-12 opponents and how he believes they will head into Big-12 play fired up. Howard also shares with the girls how former Jayhawk and current Sacramento King Frank Mason will be motivating the team while they are in Sacramento. And he reveals his suit choice for the game as well as which Kansas coach would most likely rock a Christmas suit.
